TENZA, a.s. is one of the leading Czech companies supplying technologies for production, distribution and exchange of heat. It also aims its activities on the areas of water, infrastructure and civil engineering. Tenza selected NAVISYS to become the supplier of its information system based on Microsoft Dynamics® NAV and the field-specific BIZ4BuildIn solution.
Microsoft Dynamics NAV specializes in finance management, customer relationship management, supplier chain management and manufacturing. The integrated and adjustable enterprise solutions are delivered through a network of specialized partners, helping to modernize and improve all company processes, enabling thus small and medium enterprises, large corporations and global company divisions to make their operations significantly more efficient.
In different areas Tenza used different information systems which did not provide adequate tools for project management and controlling. By implementing Microsoft Dynamics NAV company processes were unified, all data were integrated and tools were obtained for efficient company management in the area of financial and job order controlling.
The entire project was divided in several phases. The first phase focused primarily on project management, financial management, purchasing, logistics and foundry manufacturing. It was started in September 2007, launched as of January 7, 2008 and completed as of March 31, 2008.
The later phases concentrated on the issues of salaries, human resources management, company department integration and development of specific requirements. They were successfully completed on June 30, 2008. In addition, the vertical solution for the area of project management named Biz4Buildln was also implemented at TENZA. This solution is primarily focused on the needs of building industry companies, dealing with project-based job orders, civil engineering and building industry manufacturing. „Implementation of Microsoft Dynamics NAV has brought unification of processes in our company, integration of all in-house data and tools for efficient company management in the area of financial and job order controlling. Its robust platform is a guarantee of supporting our growth,” says the financial manager of TENZA, Jan Mucha.
