Lorenc Logistic, a logistics company, selected in a tender the company NAVISYS as the supplier of its information system. NAVISYS will deliver its BIZ4Logistics® information system based on the platform of Microsoft DynamicsTM NAV.

BIZ4Logistics® is a comprehensive logistics information system covering all key processes from RFP management, through planning and execution of services, to final invoicing. Company fleet can be managed in the system or it can be linked to a customer internet portal or to a vehicle tracking system. It can be used together with Map&Guide map sources. BIZ4Logistics® can also handle delivery and routing optimization, applying advanced algorithms of DNA Evolutions.

At Lorenc Logistic, BIZ4Logistics® will serve as an instrument for company accounting and asset management, it will be used in the sales department to organize deliveries with in-house vehicle fleet and haulage services, it will be also involved in vehicle service, vehicle washer and petrol station operations.

Thanks to integration of all essential corporate processes into one integrated whole the management will receive a tool for a more efficient company control and the system will thus contribute to achieving business goals of the company, to simplification and improved cost-effectiveness of the current state with the use of high-end technologies.

The process of the information system implementation was started in August 2008, the expected date of launching the production version with all the planned functionalities is April 1, 2009. “The intention of the company is system unification in all our branch offices. Among the systems our company was able to assess in the tender, it was NAVISYS who would meet the largest number of the criteria required for the information system supplier.” says Václav Lorenc, the owner of Lorenc logistic.

The company Lorenc Logistic was established in 1992. During its presence in the Czech market it grew from a small family business to a prosperous company with its own vehicle fleet. In October 2005 the daughter company of Lorenc Logistic Poland Sp. Z O.O., Kraków was founded, specializing in full-vehicle and piece-based transports both in Poland and in entire Europe. In 2007 the company opened a branch office in Brno – Pohořelice, focusing on transport and distribution services within the Czech Republic and the EU, and above all, it opened another warehouse with surface area of 1000 m2. It concentrates mainly on providing comprehensive logistic services, including both national and international transports and storage, associated accessory services and subsequent distribution to end recipients in the Czech Republic. For this purpose, the company erected on its premises in Klatovy two warehouses with the total volume of 12.000 EUR pallets furnished with modern manipulation and rack equipment, a record keeping system and bar codes ensuring maximum flexibility of options. The company puts stress on 100% supplier service towards its customers and that is why it invests into systems helping to satisfy these needs. The company specializes in transportation of large volume goods, automobile industry transports and transportation of dangerous goods pursuant to the European ADR agreement. The company employs 115 people and owns 44 VOLVO trucks with the transportation volume of 120 cubic meters (cbm) and 24 tonnes equipped with Dynafleet satellite system. Quality of services provided by Lorenc Logistic, s.r.o. is attested by ISO 9001 a ISO 14001 certifications by DEKRA.
