SPS GOLF CUP – Czech Open for single players from the construction field

Czech Open championship for single players from the construction field was held at golf course Mnich in Nová Bytřice on Thursday June 18th.
Company NAVISYS participated on the organization of this tournament and had some active representatives among the players. In the hot sunny weather 50 players competed for the title of Czech Master.
Detailed information about the course:
The tournament was played with the Stableford system with 2 / 3 HCP handicap in the competition categories HCP 0-22, HCP 22,1-36, 37-54 HCP.
For the participants, beautiful “golden” cups were prepared and complemented by business gifts from NAVISYS, OTIS, and D5. As a pleasant variegation, skill competitions “Longest Drive” and “Nearest the Pin” were organized where the winners were awarded among others by a bottle of the 15 years old Scotch whiskey.

Zdeňka Kotolová and Vladislav Řeháček were awarded for the longest drive, Ivo Románek made prize of Nearest the Pin.
Among top three players from the last year’s tournament, only Vratislav Mazura succeeded finishing third again, but this time in lower HCP category. After two years, Wieslaw Rusz, who had placed 2nd in 2007 in HCP 22,1-36 category, got in top three again; this time he finished 3rd but as well as Vratislav Mazura in lower HCP category.
